A political controversy involving Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff, CNN, and Trump administration aide Natalie Harp spilled into the Oval Office this week after a reporter pressed President Donald Trump about comments made at a campaign rally.
The exchange took place during what was supposed to be a celebration of a teenage hero.
Instead, CNN White House correspondent Kristen Holmes used the opportunity to ask Trump about remarks Ossoff had made the previous day involving Harp, a longtime Trump aide and cancer survivor.
