According to a source close to Harris’s team, there are rising fears of a repeat of 2016, when polling misjudged the political landscape, leading to a stunning upset. “People are nervous. They know the polls are tight. A lot of us are having these flashbacks to 2016 too. We know when it can go the wrong way, and it can still feel fresh,” the source admitted to CNN.
The atmosphere surrounding the vice president’s campaign has grown increasingly tense, especially following a significant media absence.
