“They ordered the turd soup and then said, ‘Waiter, there’s turds in my soup.’ Then they came back four years later and asked, ‘Y’all still have that turd soup?’”
But while the elites laugh, the facts paint a very different picture.
Enten analyzed the latest polling data and uncovered a truth Democrats will hate to hear: the overwhelming majority of Trump supporters are standing firm. And not only that—they’re doing so with more conviction than they had during his first term.
“If folks got to be able to redo their vote that they had back in 2024, would the result be any different? I doubt it would be. I doubt if would be or it would still be extremely close. The bottom line is for all this talk of Trump voters regretting their vote in the numbers, it really just doesn’t show up,” Enten explained.
A recent YouGov survey backs him up. Fewer than five percent of Trump voters said they would change their vote. Just two percent said they would vote for a different candidate, and one percent wouldn’t vote at all. Compare that to 2017, when four percent of Trump supporters said they’d reconsider their ballot.
In other words, Trump’s 2024 coalition is more locked-in than ever.
“The bottom line is this, if there’s some idea out there that Trump voters are going around, [saying] ‘man, I wish I had voted for Kamala Harris instead of Donald Trump,’” Enten concluded. “The numbers say that is a fanciful universe. It really, for the most part, does not exist.”
This data is nothing short of devastating for Democrats, especially with President Biden’s replacement, Kamala Harris, polling worse than a rainy Monday.
Democrats have spent the last three years championing fringe causes while ignoring kitchen table issues. They’ve fought tooth and nail to protect illegal aliens—including a known MS-13 gang member from El Salvador—while Americans deal with crime and chaos.

With approval ratings scraping the bottom of the barrel, Democrats aren’t giving Americans anything worth switching sides for. Instead, they’re clinging to fantasies about Trump voters having regrets. But as CNN just confessed, that fantasy is dead.
When even liberal media mouthpieces like CNN are forced to admit Trump voters are holding strong, you know it’s bad news for the Left. And come 2028, they might just find out how bad.
