CIA Quietly Retracts Explosive Biden Policy

In a stunning rebuke of recent intelligence practices, the CIA has formally retracted or rewritten nearly 20 intelligence assessments, including a highly controversial Biden-era document focused on so-called “white racially and ethnically motivated violent extremism.”

The sweeping action came after Director John Ratcliffe ordered a comprehensive review of past intelligence products, signaling a major course correction inside the nation’s premier intelligence agency.

According to the CIA, 19 assessments produced over the past decade failed to meet the agency’s standards for analytic rigor and independence. Of those, 17 were fully retracted and scrubbed from official databases. Two others were heavily revised before being reissued.

The move followed an independent examination conducted by the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, alongside an internal review led by Deputy Director Michael Ellis. Together, they assessed hundreds of finished intelligence analyses.

Ratcliffe did not mince words when announcing the decision.

“The intelligence products we released to the American people today — produced before my tenure as DCIA — fall short of the high standards of impartiality that CIA must uphold and do not reflect the expertise for which our analysts are renowned,” Ratcliffe said.
