Christie continues to compete in the Republican primary despite polling poorly and having little chance of winning. He intends to remain until the July conference.

Christie becomes enraged on CNN when she doesn’t get given credit for criticizing Trump in a debate. Then he attacks Jeff Zeleny for failing to recognize his attack. Zeleny is defended by co-anchors Phil Mattingly and Poppy Harlow.

PHIL MATTINGLY: All right. Governor Chris Christie unequivocally attacking the former president when others wouldn’t. Last night. Once again, we appreciate your time, sir. Thank you.

CHRIS CHRISTIE: Yeah. Oh, bae. Phil, by the way, would you remind Jeff Zeleny that I actually was doing that? I listened to Jeff this morning who said no one laid a glove on Donald Trump. I wondered whether Jeff was like watching a basketball game.

POPPY HARLOW: Oh, no. He was watching very closely.

CHRIS CHRISTIE: And then providing that providing commentary. But if you want to have somebody who’s going to lay a glove on Donald Trump, go to Chrischristie.com and donate. I’m the one who’s going to tell the truth and I’ll even tell it to Jeff Zeleny!

PHIL MATTINGLY: First off, I think Jeff Zeleny would happily have that discussion with you. I think you know that well, too. I think Jeff was talking about the bigger picture things where they stand right now. I will defend, I like you, man, but I will defend Jeff Zeleny against anybody, and his journalistic talent and observations.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

POPPY HARLOW: And integrity.

CHRIS CHRISTIE: Yeah. Yeah. Well, I didn’t question his integrity. I just question whether he actually watched the debate. And even somebody like Jeff Zeleny can be wrong every once in a while guys.

Christie intends to compete all the way through in the GOP primary.

Christie refuses to acknowledge a CNN poll that indicates he is trailing Trump and Haley in New Hampshire in a recent interview with CNN’s Dana Bash. Even if he is leading, his goal is still to win the state.

Come together with us in endorsing a contender that truly has what it takes to defeat the clear front-runner, Donald Trump. Christie categorically rejected the idea of working with Haley or withdrawing from the campaign before it was time.

“I think Gov. Haley and I both have the same goal, and that is to be president of the United States,” Christie said on “State of the Union.” “I think we’re showing great momentum in New Hampshire. We’ve been gaining over the last couple of weeks. I think we’re going to continue to gain in that fight. And I think we’re going to do very, very well in New Hampshire on January 23.”

“This idea of people just doing math and adding up numbers—that’s not the way voters vote. And so, you know, I would say to everybody out there, let’s let the campaign move forward,” Christie added.

“I anticipate being in this race all the way to the convention, Dana,” When asked if he planned to continue in the campaign after the New Hampshire primary, Christie said. So, sure, without a question.
