A newly released report from a Trump-era task force is drawing sharp attention in Washington, painting a troubling picture of how federal power may have been used during the Biden administration. According to the findings, agencies across the government allegedly engaged in a pattern of conduct that disproportionately impacted Christians, particularly traditional Catholics and faith-based organizations.
The document stems from Executive Order 14202, signed by Donald J. Trump, which established the “Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias.” The directive tasked federal officials—led by the Department of Justice—with investigating whether religious discrimination influenced policies under Joe Biden, and to correct any misuse of federal authority targeting people of faith.
Rather than focusing narrowly on one religious group, the report frames its concerns as a broader constitutional issue. It argues that targeting the nation’s largest faith demographic could set a dangerous precedent for all Americans, regardless of belief.
“By addressing anti-Christian bias and religious discrimination directly, Americans can make religious discrimination unthinkable for all faiths,” the report states.
