A Starbucks in Chicago is under fire after a shocking incident that has ignited outrage nationwide. The coffee chain was forced to temporarily close one of its stores after staff allegedly mocked a senior citizen customer simply because she ordered Charlie Kirk’s favorite drink.

On Tuesday, Jacqueline Garretson revealed on X that her mother-in-law was humiliated at the Starbucks on Northwest Highway and Harlem Avenue.
“This morning a family member went to Starbucks and ordered Charlie Kirk’s favorite drink — Mint Majesty with honey. When their cup came back, it was marked with the word ‘loser :)’ scribbled across it,” Garretson wrote.
She continued, “No customer should ever be mocked or insulted because of what they order or what they believe. This is blatant bias, unprofessional, and unacceptable.”
Family Demands Answers
Garretson and her husband quickly confronted Starbucks management, demanding accountability for what they called a deliberate act of bias and harassment.
