When Robinson’s new lawyer, Kathryn Nester, entered the Provo courtroom this week, it became clear this was no ordinary case. She quickly admitted her team wasn’t ready to handle the mountain of evidence stacked against her client.
“There is a substantial amount of discovery in this case, Your Honor. It’s voluminous, to say the least,” Utah County Chief District Attorney Chad Grunander told the judge.
