On his most recent radio program, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk enthusiastically addressed speculations regarding a Trump-Tucker Carlson ticket for the 2024 election. He called it “awesome” and went on to discuss the strategic benefits it would provide.
Tucker Carlson is being considered by former President Trump as a possible running mate for 2024. On the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, Trump expressed his admiration for Carlson’s common sense.

Social media went viral after the news, enthralling Trump’s diehard fans. Before this, Trump had an unprecedentedly high viewership during his interview with Carlson, which rivaled the first presidential debate.
With an impressive 212.3 million impressions, the interview far outperformed the debate, which drew in about 13 million viewers.
Charlie Kirk thinks the plan is a great way to win over conservative voters as well as being politically sound. He gave his explanation on Friday.
“I gotta be honest, I thought about this at first. I think okay, ‘do I love it because it sounds good or do I love it because it’s a good idea?’ I want to win, how do you win in a crowded field? Attention and trust,” he said.
“Who is the second most trusted, the second most popular, the second smartest and principled person in the conservative movement? If he was still alive, it would’ve been Rush Limbaugh, I think we all agree with that,” Kirk continued. “It is without doubt Tucker Carlson.”
Charlie Kirk believes that the proposal is not only pleasing to conservatives, but also an excellent campaign strategy. On Friday, he explained his reasoning.
“He’s real, he’s honest, he’s a true American. And honestly, Tucker is one of the few people who could actually be Trump’s vice president, who if Trump got put in federal prison or one heartbeat away, he would have the exact same agenda,” Kirk said.
