CBS Lets Socialist Dodge Cop Killer Questions!

A high-profile CBS interview with Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon is facing criticism after questions about her political agenda took center stage while a controversial display inside her Jacksonville café received comparatively little attention.

Nixon, a progressive candidate associated with the Democratic Socialists of America, has drawn scrutiny over photographs displayed at Café Resistance, a café and bookstore she operates. According to reporting by the Washington Free Beacon, the display includes images of members of the Black Panther Party and Black Liberation Army, organizations whose members were involved in violent confrontations and attacks, including the murders of police officers.

The controversy intensified after Nixon reportedly added a small sign stating, “history is not always good” without removing the photographs.

Yet when CBS journalist Margaret Brennan interviewed Nixon on Face the Nation shortly before Election Day, critics argued that the segment failed to adequately examine the display and the questions it raised about the candidate’s judgment.
