On Valentine’s Day, a husband walked into a situation no spouse ever expects to see. According to investigators, he discovered his 31 year old wife, Alicia Hughes, with an 18 year old male student. The confrontation that followed would trigger a criminal investigation that uncovered far more disturbing allegations tied to her role inside a public school.
Hughes worked at Union City Junior Senior High School as a front office secretary for the Randolph Eastern School Corporation. Her job seemed routine. She answered phones. She handled attendance. Court records reveal that in September 2025, a 17 year old student called the school to report himself absent. Hughes reportedly answered the phone.
