President Joe Biden looked tired and spoke haltingly on Friday morning during a recent session at the White House. He looked down rather than making eye contact with the visiting leaders, relying mainly on his notes.
For a brief time, Biden called Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, “Prime Minister Joe” before realizing his error.

Biden said,
“I think Prime Minister Joe and President… and I think Prime Minister Trudeau and President (inaudible) are also uh uh and I also thank President Chavez uh for I want to thank them for committing to establish a new Regional Center of Excellence in Costa Rica”
Between PM Pierre Trudeau’s tenure, from 1979 to 1980, Canada’s Joseph Clark filled in as prime minister. He played a big role in Joe Biden’s formative years as a U.S. Senator and served as the Canadian Progressive Conservatives’ last leader.
But given his slurred speech throughout the rest of his statements, it’s also possible that Biden simply called the PM “Joe,” as RNC Research suggests. In his remarks, Biden may have reduced Trudeau’s surname to “Troe.”
President Biden occasionally stammered out his remarks during a discussion about planned changes to the Inter-American Development Bank and the creation of a “Fund for Nature,” and he mostly read from his prepared remarks instead of looking the heads of state in the eye.
Biden appeared to be giving his address to the Western leaders for the first time during his remarks at the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity Leaders’ Summit.
President Biden’s main objective for the Summit was emphasized by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in an official statement on October 20. His goal was to restate America’s commitment to working with allies to further economic integration in our region. In addition, the goal was to address the underlying causes of irregular migration in our region and promote equitable and sustainable economic growth.
He made the case that towns that welcome migrants and refugees have the capacity to do so in response to the “irregular migration” situation at our southern border, which is often caused by illegal immigration.

In a recent statement, Biden stressed how critical it is to prevent dangerous and irregular migration by implementing immigration rules in a humane and effective manner. However, according to USA First Reporting, recent allegations of federal officials tearing down Texas’ border walls and letting thousands of illegal immigrants into the country have sparked fears.
During his speech on illegal immigration, Biden told the other Western Hemisphere leaders that the US, Canada, and Spain are providing financial support to nations that are working to grant legal status to migrants. These nations are giving equal weight to the establishment of secure and well-organized migration routes in addition to their efforts to halt the flood of undocumented immigrants. Furthermore, visas for workers are being granted to migrants so they can participate in the economy.
He gave contradicting remarks on upholding immigration law. He declared that the United States will apply immigration laws in a way that deters dangerous irregular migration and thwarts traffickers, while also being humane and effective.
