According to Williamson, Hutchinson reached out before her congressional deposition, expressing concerns that her Republican colleagues might view her testimony as a betrayal.

Williamson explained in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), “Cassidy claimed to be worried that our old Trump WH colleagues, including our boss Mark Meadows, might think she was ‘disloyal’ for following a subpoena and showing up to the deposition.” Williamson reassured her that no one, including Meadows, would see her as disloyal for complying with legal requirements.
