Recently, Capitol Police officers prevented a children’s choir from singing the National Anthem in the Capitol Rotunda. According to the reports, they were worried about the potential harm it may do to someone.
A group of enthusiastic young children sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” in the majestic Rotunda chamber to demonstrate their unshakable devotion for their country.
The performers were halted in the middle of their act by law enforcement officials in order to save a symbol of our democracy, according to Gateway Pundit, despite possessing a permit for their concert.
