Brutal Subway Beatdown: Disabled Elderly Woman Attacked in NYC!

A 60-year-old handicapped lady was allegedly beaten with her own cane at a New York subway station by a guy with a lengthy history of violent crime, but police who were summoned to the scene were unable to make an arrest. Five days after the terrible incident, police eventually arrested their suspect after further investigation was prompted by the swiftly spreading video of the assault.

Charges have been brought against Norton Blake, 43, for allegedly attacking Laurell Reynolds, 60, in a Harlem subway station. LaShanna Reese, the victim’s daughter, reportedly claimed that Reynolds was attacked after momentarily leaving her walker at the top of a staircase so she could take some goods down. She was targeted by the attacker as she turned around to collect her walker, which led her to trip and fall on the stairs. Police are looking into the situation right now to learn more.

Witnesses surmise that a dispute between Blake and Reynolds may have swiftly heated up as a result of something coming loose from one of Reynolds’ bags. Although the specific reason is unknown, it is certain that tensions quickly increased.

The victim, who is vulnerable on her back and urgently attempting to protect herself with kicks and grabs for her cane, is seen in horrifying footage being brutally attacked by the perpetrator. She suffered significant injuries as a result of the vicious attack, including a shattered leg and bodily bruising.

The cops who responded to a 911 call discharged Blake, a serial offender with several assault offenses, including attacks on law enforcement officials. It’s unclear if the officers saw the video before making a choice. Their decision was influenced by Reynolds and Blake’s contradicting testimonies.

Reese is still not persuaded. She vented her rage by insisting that Blake ought to have been detained at the site right away by the police. She made a veiled allusion to the fact that the viral video and the uproar from the public were the only things that motivated their conduct.
