A 60-year-old handicapped lady was allegedly beaten with her own cane at a New York subway station by a guy with a lengthy history of violent crime, but police who were summoned to the scene were unable to make an arrest. Charges have been brought against Norton Blake, 43, for allegedly attacking Laurell Reynolds, 60, in a Harlem subway station. LaShanna Reese, the victim’s daughter, reportedly claimed that Reynolds was attacked after momentarily leaving her walker at the top of a staircase so she could take some goods down.
