Fox News anchor Bret Baier told viewers Saturday that President Donald Trump’s recent military strikes against Iran were strategically timed to maximize visibility and effectiveness. The operation, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury,” took place after sunrise, making U.S. aircraft more visible to Iranian forces—a bold move signaling American confidence and precision.
Baier appeared on America’s Newsroom to provide insight into the ongoing operation as the United States and Israel continue coordinated efforts against Iranian targets.
“I just got off the phone with the president. He is very pleased with how things are going. Disheartened about the loss of life and there may be more. He said along the way. As far as the progress, he said they are ahead of where they thought they would be,” Baier reported.
The Fox News host shared further details from his conversation with Trump, including the president’s thoughts on the intelligence and planning behind the operation.
