New evidence, obtained by congressional investigators and shared by Just the News, has brought to light encrypted messages between Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aide and key witness in the January 6 probe. These messages were exchanged on the Signal app, and included involvement from Hutchinson’s associate, Alyssa Farah Griffin. According to Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), who chairs the House Administration oversight subcommittee, this information points to serious flaws in the Democrat-led investigation into the Capitol riot.

“These unethical back-channel communications between former Rep. Liz Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson occurred right before Hutchinson altered her sworn testimony,” Loudermilk said in a statement to Just the News. “Not only is communicating with a witness without their attorney present unethical, but it also undermines the credibility of the entire investigation.”
