It’s getting harder to support a political party that scorns and ignores you as a voter.
On Tuesday, House Republicans participated in a contentious voting process to select a new Speaker candidate. The Republicans narrowed the field to only two candidates after going through many rounds of secret voting from an original pool of eight contenders.

Tom Emmer is in favor of a large US Constitutional amendment. In his idea, the Electoral College would be abolished, making the US President a function of the popular vote and blue states with a leftward lean.
Tom Emmer apparently voted against 2022 election candidates supported by Donald Trump.
Favorite GOP candidate Jim Jordan was abruptly ousted from the Speaker post by the caucus on Friday.
