Donald Trump Jr. made a big presence as his father’s spokesman during the Iowa Caucuses on Monday. Alongside his fiancé Kimberly Guilfoyle, he addressed the caucus attendees in Ankney, Iowa. He did not rule out running for president in the future when asked about his own possible political goals.
The Daily Mail said that the popular host of “Triggered,” son of Donald J. Trump, expressed worries about media outlets trying to “suppress the vote” by publicizing his father’s commanding lead in the polls. The true high point of the occasion, though, was when a voter asked about Trump Jr.’s own professional goals.

He laughed and said, “Oh God,” when asked whether he planned to run for president in 2028. Then, turning to face Guilfoyle, he said, “Hey princess, you ready for this?” From the back of the room, the former prosecutor who is now a news personality grinned and said, “Let’s go, Iowa.”
“I don’t want to say no because then if you decide to do it, it’s like, ‘Oh my God, he’s a major liar,’” Trump, Jr. joked.
“You know, people, the reality is this, like, I never needed this. Right? But I believe in it.” He continued, citing RawStory. The 46-year-old real estate mogul revealed that he spent his childhood summers in Czechoslovakia with his mother, who had “escaped” communism but sent him back to observe its consequences. His job as his father’s spokesperson has dominated most of his professional life.
“You know, I got it, so I’m an unlikely person to understand these things, but just sort of by dumb luck, it fell into there. So, you know, I’ve become pretty passionate about it,” he said.
He noted that becoming a real estate developer and attending “cool parties” in New York City would have been simpler than supporting his father’s political efforts, but he also said, “You know, once you take this stance, they’ll go after you that way.”
“So, I guess the answer is I will continue to fight no matter what. The question is, do you want the day job of actually doing it when I look at some of these morons in Congress?”

Trump Jr. made the assumption that he is better suited to advance the conservative cause as a private citizen, even if he hasn’t ruled out running for president himself in the future. “I almost feel like I can do more outside of that. I don’t have to play by the rules,” before taking a shot at the first son of the present administration, he informed his fans. “Again, I’m not Hunter Biden. I actually have to play by the rules.”
