Breaking: DeSantis’ Surprising Trump VP Response!

At a recent campaign event in New Hampshire, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis firmly addressed the rumors that he might be the running mate for former President Donald Trump. DeSantis declared that he would not think twice about running with Trump in 2024, even though he finished second in the GOP primary.

To put it simply, no.

During the campaign event, DeSantis emphasized that Nikki Haley—a former governor of South Carolina and UN ambassador during the Trump administration—did not provide a clear response.

“She will not answer directly — and she owes you an answer to this — will she accept a vice presidential nomination from Donald Trump? Yes or no?” DeSantis said during a campaign stop in New Hampshire. “And I can tell you, under any circumstance, I will not accept that because that’s not why I’m running. I’m running for the nomination and to be president. … I’d rather be governor than vice president, no question.”

DeSantis declares that he is the only candidate who can beat Trump to win the nomination.

“I’m the only one that can beat [Trump] — there’s a reason they spend money against me. He has not spent any money against her. She has not spent any money against him,” he said.

The Haley campaign sent the following statement to the Washington Examiner in an attempt to get a response: “Phony Ron DeSantis has spent ten times more money attacking Nikki Haley than Donald Trump. He’ll say anything to try to salvage his sinking ship of a campaign. Nikki has been very clear from day one, she doesn’t play for second. Ron is trying to play for fourth in New Hampshire.”

In a recent interview with Newsmax TV, Lara Trump alluded to Haley as her father-in-law’s potential running mate.

Lara stated that fans of the late President Donald Trump ought to give careful thought to the prospect of him appointing Haley as his vice president in an interview with host Eric Bolling.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

“I believe Nikki Haley should exercise caution when visiting South Carolina. She is from that state. Bolling once said to Lara Trump, “I think Donald Trump will win in South Carolina, and Nikki Haley will probably come in second.”

Lara chuckled and responded, “Maybe Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy could run together in 2024?” “There’s a lot of talk about a lot of people. There’s Trump-Tucker Carlson talk, there’s obviously Trump-Vivek talk, there’s– yeah. I thought you were gonna say Trump-Chris Christie talk, which you’d have a better chance of Joe Biden running with Donald Trump than Chris Christie at this point.”

When Bolling asked, “Would he ever pick Nikki Haley?” Lara Trump replied, “Crazier things have happened. I don’t know. I would never say never with Donald J. Trump. Never say never.”

In 2022, Kari Lake—a presumed GOP candidate for Arizona governor and potential Trump vice presidential candidate—provided her response to Eric Bolling’s inquiry regarding Nikki Haley’s potential role in a Trump administration.

Lake said: “I would guess the sooner she gets out, the more likely that would happen, but I don’t know about that.”

Trump’s possible running mate, Lake, has formally submitted his candidacy for a U.S. Arizona Senate seat available. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, an independent, currently holds the position; it is unclear if she will run for office again.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), a well-known supporter of Trump’s policies that prioritize the United States, has announced that he is endorsing Lake in what is sure to be a closely watched contest in a pivotal swing state.

“Kari Lake is the fighter Arizona needs to secure the border, unleash American Energy Independence, and lower the cost of living. Joe Biden’s policies have been a disaster for Arizona and Kari Lake will stand up to the Biden agenda and put Arizonans first. Let’s send Kari to the Senate and take back the majority,” Cotton said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

  1. I doubt if President Donald Trump would choose DeSantis as VP since he decided to run against his ONETIME FRIEND!!!! I don’t think DeSantis will have to worry about making a decision about being VP because he won’t be chosen. Jeanie Chancellor

  2. I thought for a long time that President Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis would make a great pair in the WH, but there’s been too much negativity, Gov. DeSantis has been talking down President Trump!! So, I don’t see the two of them serving together in the WH. IT’S A DAMN SHAME THEY CAN’T WORK TOGETHER TO BRING THE CRIMINAL biden REGIME DOWN!!
