Border Patrol Sends Trump GAME-CHANGING News!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“It’s been very slow,” a Border Patrol source told the New York Post. The agents are no longer just overwhelmed by processing, but are looking forward to resuming their core mission. “Now we are just waiting for the go-ahead to return to what our job is, which is protecting U.S. citizens from bad people,” the source added.

Border Patrol Agents Regain Their Morale

Morale among agents had hit rock bottom during the Biden years, with many expressing frustration at being turned into what they described as social workers and babysitters for illegal migrants. The shift in priorities left the agents unable to fulfill their mission of safeguarding the country’s borders.

But the mood has changed dramatically. One agent said the Border Patrol had regained its “mojo” as illegal immigration numbers started to decline. National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez echoed this sentiment, highlighting the enthusiasm among agents since the election results were announced.

“The morale is through the roof,” Perez stated. “We’ve received hundreds of calls, texts, emails, just saying how happy the agents are. There are a lot of agents that had originally said that they would retire if President Trump did not win. And now those same agents are saying they’re going to hold back on their retirement because they want to serve under this administration again.”

Sharp Declines in Illegal Immigration Numbers

The Biden-era border crisis hit certain areas especially hard. For example, the El Paso Sector saw an average of 1,500 illegal crossings per day. That number has now fallen to around 800. Similarly, the San Diego Sector, which peaked at 2,000 daily apprehensions, is now down to approximately 1,000.

Several factors have contributed to this decline. In addition to Trump’s policies, Mexico has ramped up its military presence and checkpoints. Manny Bayon, a National Border Patrol Council official, credited these developments for improving the situation ahead of Trump’s inauguration.

In West Texas, however, challenges remain. Terrell County Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland reported a recent uptick in crossings but clarified it likely had no connection to the election. His county had previously seen a staggering 417% increase in illegal alien apprehensions and a 467% rise in “gotaways” during the Biden presidency.

“We are back to the pre-ebb-and-flow of the pre-Biden administration,” Cleveland explained, signaling hope for more manageable conditions moving forward.

Agents Ready to Take Action

Border Patrol agents are now gearing up to fully resume their critical mission of protecting the nation. No longer bogged down by what they saw as politically motivated restrictions, agents feel a renewed sense of pride in their work. With Trump’s leadership promising a stronger, more secure border, agents are confident about the future.

Trump’s return to the White House has been a game-changer for the Border Patrol. The handcuffs that once hindered them are gone, and they are ready to do the job they were trained to do: securing the nation’s borders and protecting American citizens. For these agents, the shift is more than just a policy change; it’s a return to their mission and their purpose.
