Border First: Zelensky Faces GOP Walkout in Funding Clash!

Republican senators argue about the border problem as they storm out of a briefing on Ukraine’s help. Zelensky, President, revokes his video appeal for US funding.

Sens. Mitt Romney of Utah and Deb Fischer of Nebraska, among other irate Republicans, abruptly departed the confidential session. What was the source of their annoyance? They were dissatisfied with the dearth of information offered about the vital matter of the border migrant problem between the United States and Mexico.

“The briefers were saying things we’ve all known, we can read about in any newspaper, had been said publicly,” Romney informed reporters, as reported by AP. “There’s nothing new in what they’re describing, and Republicans are saying that there’s support for Ukraine, but there has to be security of our border.”

This Wednesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine hopes to win congressional approval for a hastily agreed-upon aid package that exceeds $60 billion for Kiev.

Despite Zelensky’s “last-minute” cancellation, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, the briefing went forward. But the whole thing suddenly turned into a furious argument.

“Republicans are just walking out of the briefing because the people there are not willing to actually discuss what it takes to get a deal done,” Romney stated, as reported by AP.

“We’ve had it,” Senator Deb Fischer of Nebraska, a member of the Appropriations and Armed Services committees, stated. “When you have Deb Fischer who’s upset about this, they better be worried. Because I have backed everything” on Ukraine, Fischer said.

Former Vice-President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (81), dismissing Republican calls for border security as “just wrong.” Biden is widely thought to have the ability to become the next American president.

“The failure to support Ukraine is just absolutely crazy. It’s against US interests,” Mr. Biden said.

Rustem Umierov, the minister of defense for Ukraine, tells Fox News that Zelensky is mute because of the fighting that is still going on and the constantly changing situation.

“It’s a war, so the situation can change. But, I think, President Zelensky would appreciate [it] and do it whenever it would be possible next time.”

Japan, the G7 chair, declared that Zelensky will turn to the other G7 leaders for assistance during a video summit later today.

According to Gateway Pundit, Zelensky and Commander in Chief Gen. Vitali Zaluzhny are presently embroiled in a power battle. The Zelensky-Zaluzhny divide is currently being portrayed by Ukrainian government spin doctors as “Russian disinformation.”

The office of the Ukrainian anti-corruption prosecutor disclosed extensive corruption investigations, including sums of between “10 and 100 million Euros.” They wouldn’t talk about the specifics, though.

“There are several proceedings related to arms procurement,” Klymenko said. “It is necessary to investigate and establish specific facts: whether it happened or not.”
