With Musk at the helm, the Democrat Party knows it has little ammunition to fight back. They can’t argue against fiscal responsibility, so instead, they’ve turned to their favorite tactic—lawfare.
Liberal activists, backed by media allies, are throwing everything they have at DOGE. The latest strategy? A relentless smear campaign designed to divide Trump and Musk.
They’ve weaponized the courts, hoping to slow down Musk’s efforts. But they’re also engaging in a psychological war, pushing a bizarre narrative about a so-called “President Musk,” trying to trigger Trump into turning against his ally.
Fox News’ Sean Hannity wasn’t fooled. In an exclusive joint interview, he called out the media’s manipulation directly.
“You’re both aware, you have to be keenly aware that the media and the punditry class – I think you’ve proven they have no power anymore because they threw everything they had at you and they didn’t win. And that was, you know, The New York Times, Washington Post, three networks, every late-night comedy show on cable channels,” Hannity said to Trump and Musk.
Hannity pressed further, pointing out how the media is trying to manufacture a rift between the two.
“They just, they threw everything. Lawfare, weaponization. And now I see they want you two – they want a divorce. They want you two to start hating each other. And they try. Oh, President Elon Musk, for example. You do know that they’re doing that to you?” Hannity asked.
Trump wasn’t buying it. He made it clear he understands the psychological warfare at play and that he’s not falling for the media’s latest hoax.
“I see it all the time. They tried it. Then they stopped. They have many different things of hatred. Actually, Elon called me. He said, you know, they’re trying to drive us apart. I said, absolutely. No, they said, We have breaking news. Donald Trump has ceded control of the presidency to Elon Musk. President Musk will be attending a cabinet meeting tonight at eight o’clock. And I say, it’s just so obvious. It’s so bad. I used to think they were good at it. They’re actually bad at it because if they were good at it, I’d never be president,” Trump stated.
Trump has faced relentless attacks from the media for years, and he knows their game well. The non-stop negative coverage, hit pieces, and outright lies are nothing new. If the media had any real power, he says, he never would have been elected in the first place.
“Because I think nobody in history has ever gotten more bad publicity than me. I could do the greatest things. I get 98% bad publicity I could do outside of you. Few of your very good friends, right? It’s like the craziest thing. But you know what I have learned, Elon? The people are smart. They get it,” Trump added.
Musk agreed with Trump, making it clear that the American people aren’t buying the media’s desperate attempts to divide them.
“Yeah, they do, actually,” Musk replied.
Despite the media’s best efforts, Trump and Musk remain united in their mission. The corrupt establishment is running out of tricks, and DOGE is moving full speed ahead.
With trillions of dollars in taxpayer money on the line, the left is in full panic mode. And as Trump and Musk continue exposing waste and corruption, the swamp is only going to get deeper in trouble.
