White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn’t hold back after a Democrat congressman took a cheap shot at her Christian beliefs. Instead of sinking to his level, Leavitt delivered a confident and dignified response that highlighted both her strength and character.
The controversy erupted after Rep. Dave Min (D-CA) lashed out at Leavitt over comments she made regarding misinformation about President Trump’s federal funding freeze decision on January 29. Corporate media falsely reported that Trump had rescinded the freeze entirely. Leavitt stepped in to set the record straight, clarifying that the recission only applied to an OMB memo and that the freeze itself remained in effect.

Min, however, ignored the facts and instead launched a personal attack. He accused Leavitt of lying and went as far as to mock her Christian faith in an inflammatory post on X.
