A major federal investigation has uncovered what authorities describe as a foiled terror conspiracy aimed at a high-profile UFC event held at the White House, raising serious questions about border security, immigration enforcement, and national security vetting systems.
According to Homeland Security information obtained by Fox News Digital, the alleged mastermind of the plot is Abraham Alvarez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico who previously received protections under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, commonly known as DACA.
Investigators say Alvarez entered the United States as a child and later overstayed a B2 visa that expired in 2001. Despite that, he was granted DACA status in 2014, allowing him to remain in the country under deferred enforcement protections.
Federal authorities allege Alvarez went on to become the central figure in a coordinated plan targeting the June 14 UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, an event that drew significant attention due to its symbolic location and large expected attendance.
Law enforcement sources describe Alvarez as the “ringleader” of the scheme. He was arrested by federal agents in Omaha, Nebraska, on the same day as the scheduled event, bringing the alleged operation to an abrupt halt before it could be carried out.
