Bill Maher delivered another sharp critique of the Democratic Party on Friday, this time taking aim at what he sees as an increasingly obvious double standard when it comes to religion — particularly Judaism.
During a discussion on HBO’s Real Time, Maher responded to CNN anchor Dana Bash’s comments about Texas Democrat James Talarico and his willingness to openly discuss his Christian faith.
Bash argued that Talarico “wears his faith on his sleeve” and suggested that his religious message could potentially help him politically.
