Biden’s Non-Binary Energy Dept. Official FIRED

Sam Brinton, a gender-fluid employee of the Energy Department under Biden, was fired after being suspected of stealing multiple bags from airports. The news serves as a wake-up call to the government that even their most well-known appointments might face penalties for breaching the law.

After an unexplained period of time, it was reported on Monday that Brinton had been removed of his responsibilities as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Water Disposal at the U.S. Department of Energy.

The spokesperson told The Daily Beast, “Sam Brinton is no longer a DOE employee. By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters.”

Despite not having checked any baggage, Brinton was charged with stealing a woman’s suitcase at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in September after being seen on surveillance footage from the airport. The expensive items in the suitcase that was stolen were believed to be worth more than $2,300!

On numerous occasions, Brinton was observed smugly parading the stolen bag, obviously unconcerned with the potential legal repercussions of their behavior.

When the police interviewed Brinton about the luggage, the DOE official denied any wrongdoing, saying, “If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual. That was my clothes when I opened the bag.”

Two hours after first denying any wrongdoing, Brinton had a change of heart and contacted the detective. He recanted his story and expressed regret for being dishonest, saying that he had temporarily lost his senses while traveling and wrongly thought someone else’s suitcase belonged to them (despite not having checked any luggage himself).

When faced with a tough situation, Brinton resorted to his go-to response: telling a lie. He became confused and spoke out of turn because he was afraid of being blamed and judged for taking the bag.

Brinton made a terrible error when he chose to lie to the police, which sent him down a bad path. His lies had major repercussions, with felony theft charges and his employment at the energy department being suspended.

Last week, a significant theft involving Brinton, 35, took place at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. He was issued a felony warrant after being charged with grand theft and accused of stealing bags valued between $1,200 and $5,000.

Brinton will appear before a judge on December 19 to account for their alleged crime. They risk receiving a sentence of up to five years in jail, a fine of $10,000, or both if found guilty of felony theft charges. Justice hangs in the balance as judgment day approaches.
