Biden’s National Prayer Breakfast Ends with ‘Hell’ Confusion!

There are boundaries for speechwriters. A speech that is given badly—by someone who stammers, mumbles, and lacks grace—can totally destroy its intended meaning.

This brings us to President Joe Biden, whose presence at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning at the Capitol in Washington certainly caused Christians all over the world to debate the Bible passage. “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).

It is difficult to listen to someone who has harmed your country and your life for the past three years preach about morals, ethics, and behavior while making very few references to God and only oblique allusions to prayer and faith.

In hard circumstances, a Christian’s faith becomes even more important, demanding confidence in God’s plan and direction. In prosperous times, faith comes easily.

Biden was obviously happy with his performance, but he was taken aback by a major gaffe toward the end of his address.

“But remember — let’s remember who the hell we — who we are,” he said.

Nothing says what our country stands for at the National Prayer Breakfast like having “hell” as your go-to term.

The error is illuminating and embarrassing on a global scale once more. It gives our adversaries the impression that we are easy prey.

They wouldn’t be incorrect given the state of the US now.

Biden, meanwhile, is mentally disabled and can not see any of this. If only the hobbling idiot had shown no signs of absolute wickedness during those brief moments of total insight, you would feel terrible for him.

This also applied to the National Prayer Breakfast. His poor word enunciation began as soon as he stepped up to the stage, particularly while he was switching between words.

In keeping with his demeanor, the president casually called National Prayer Breakfast Foundation chairperson Heidi Heitkamp “kid” during recognition.

“Heidi, I hadn’t seen you in a while,” To the 68-year-old former senator, Biden replied. “It’s so good to see you again, kid. It really is.”

Instead of sounding like he was speaking at a serious, religious event, he sounded like he was at a high school awards ceremony. Really?

Biden’s quips were offensive in several cases as well. The president said in his speech that Democratic Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware had graduated from Yale University with a theology degree and a law degree concurrently.

“Makes me always wonder about him,” Biden said. “I don’t know.”

It makes sense that the president might be confused by the fact that he is both an attorney and a man of religion.

Biden’s homage to a prayer said 15 years ago by Senate chaplain Barry Black confused me to no end.

“Chaplain Black, we’ve known each other a long time,” the president said. “And on my last day in the Senate Chamber, you offered a prayer: that in our labor may we illuminate the darkness of doubt, may we distinguish between truth and falsehood, and may we see possibilities that are now hidden.”

For Americans, that prayer has come true since Biden assumed office. We can now see how dishonest our government is as a whole, understand truth and falsity in previously unheard-of ways, and admit that the outcome of this year’s presidential election is still unknown.

When Biden did, in fact, address God once, he said, in the very next breath, “We leave no one behind. We believe everyone deserves a fair shot.”

I could not believe my ears as I thought back to the 11 men who died in Afghanistan during his botched evacuation. Joe, where’s their equal chance?

As he concluded, the president said, “We’re the only nation in the world that has come out of every crisis stronger than we went in when we act together.” It occurs to me that our only option is to pray.

The time of Biden has been a massive problem. Any fortitude we muster will come from God’s grace, not from his management.

From the depths of hell, as the president so eloquently reminded us, that was quite the speech.
