The proverbial sports cliche “Father Time is undefeated” has stood the test of time.
The term sports ball describes the physical deterioration that professional players go through as they get older. Learn the real meaning of this often used term.
In the same way that professional athletes in their late 30s would sense the impacts of time and age, so too do average Americans when they cross the threshold into their 80s.
Since many are pointing out the unavoidable impacts of aging on an 80-year-old, Joe Biden’s age is starting to be an issue. People who have gone through a comparable aging process are talking about it.
In Scranton, Joe Biden struggles to get the support of local seniors. According to reports, the President is having trouble winning over his senior Pennsylvanian neighbors, and this is due to a variety of circumstances, including the President’s own age.

Even though she thinks both candidates are too elderly, Petroski said she would only support Biden if he faced off against former President Donald Trump in the GOP primary for 2024. Trump in particular is 76 years old.
“There comes a time when you have to step down. And it’s hard to concede to that too, you know,” she said.
One of the main reasons retired Republican Fred Miller, who is in his 60s, is not endorsing Biden is that he doesn’t trust Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I don’t want to pick [a newspaper] up in the morning and see that President Biden has passed away overnight and now Kamala Harris is our president,” Miller said.
