A newly released Justice Department report is sending shockwaves through Washington, alleging that federal prosecutors under Joe Biden used the power of the government to aggressively target pro-life Americans while coordinating with left-leaning activist organizations.
The findings, made public Tuesday, stem from a sweeping internal review of more than 700,000 documents. At the center of the controversy is enforcement of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, commonly known as the FACE Act. The law was originally designed to protect both abortion clinics and pro-life pregnancy centers, but investigators now say its application may have been anything but balanced.
According to the report, federal prosecutors worked hand-in-hand with organizations such as Planned Parenthood and other abortion-rights groups, gathering intelligence that was later used in criminal cases against pro-life activists. Critics argue this raises serious concerns about whether the Justice Department blurred the line between neutral law enforcement and political advocacy.
