Benefits that illegal immigrants receive are disproportionate to what law-abiding citizens are entitled to, with billions of tax money going into subsidizing freebies for individuals who entered the nation illegally. Mayor Eric Adams of New York City recently approved an additional $53 million in public funds to provide illegal people with free prepaid credit cards.
The most recent project from the Democratic mayor allots $53 million in public funding for a trial program that would give prepaid credit cards to unauthorized people. According to The New York Post, these cards may be used to buy food in nearby bodegas.

500 illegal people will receive credit cards as part of the most recent aid initiative, which is being run by Mobility Capital Finance, a New Jersey-based company, according to official city hall information.
According to the city, bodegas, grocery shops, supermarkets, and convenience stores would accept the cards. It is necessary for participants to certify that they would only use the cards for meals. Should they break this promise, they risk being kicked out of the program and even losing their free lodging at the Roosevelt Hotel shelter.
However, it appears that this is a bit of a stretch. Is there any way that “signing an affidavit” can deter illegal aliens from entering our nation unlawfully if they don’t care enough about the law to refrain from doing so? Will some of these undocumented immigrants not sell their cards to make money on drugs and alcohol? What “affidavit” could do to prevent that?
The government food aid program known as SNAP is comparable to the new credit card scheme. However, this scheme transfers resources from Americans to non-citizens.
According to authorities, the cards will have a $1,000 balance that will be refreshed every 28 days.
“MoCaFi looks forward to partnering with New York City to disburse funds for asylum seekers to purchase fresh, hot food,” Wole Coaxum, the creator and CEO of MoCaFi, stated in a statement. “MoCaFi’s goal is to expand access to financial resources for individuals excluded from banking, such as asylum seekers, while helping the local economy.”
The card scheme will be extended by city hall to about 15,000 additional migrants who are housed in the city.
“Not only will this provide families with the ability to purchase fresh food for their culturally relevant diets and the baby supplies of their choosing, but the pilot program is expected to save New York City more than $600,000 per month, or more than $7.2 million annually,” stated in a statement by Kayla Mamelak, a spokesperson at city hall.
The “savings” presumably allude to the fact that the migrants will go out and purchase their own meals instead of the city paying a corporation to feed the illegals for free.

Whether or not the meals are consumed, city hall has been paying $11 for each meal that is packaged for illegal immigrants. The Post also noted that a large number of the meals are wasted since the migrants choose cuisine that is familiar to them from their own countries.
About 66,000 illegal people are being housed in New York City, at a cost of 10 billion dollars until 2025.
Spending billions of tax money on free services for illegal people, including food, clothes, medical care, education, legal aid, and more, is not exclusive to New York City. States like Colorado, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, and a few others are engaging in similar tactics.
Recently, Boston came under fire for bringing illegal people into the city and turning a recreational center from a predominantly black area into a refuge for migrants. Local youngsters lost their place to assemble as a community after this action.
According to Fox News, Boston’s Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu moved hundreds of housed migrants from Edward Logan International Airport to the Roxbury recreation center, therefore shutting it to locals.
Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago has taken resources away from the local population by closing schools and leisure facilities and turning them into shelters for migrant workers.
Americans are effectively acting as an ATM for the millions of illegal immigrants who are entering the country illegally through our taxes. Democrats are giving away an increasing amount of free stuff, making it harder for taxpayers to make ends meet.
