President Biden pushed Congress to enact stricter gun control legislation following the horrific massacre at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade.
At least 29 people were hurt and in need of medical treatment after a gunman opened fire during the celebrations in Kansas City on Wednesday, sparking a violent outburst.

According to Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves, there was one fatality out of the 22 people that were shot. Nineteen of the 29 people are still receiving care for gunshot wounds, according to hospitals that spoke with CNN.
Biden quickly made the tragedy political.
Biden pleaded with Congress to outlaw “assault weapons, to limit high-capacity magazines, strengthen background checks, keep guns out of the hands of those who have no business owning them or handling them.”
