Biden Sabotaging Harris? New Report Shocks D.C.

While it may have been a light-hearted moment, many in the media seized on the optics, suggesting it symbolized a deeper sentiment. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to clarify what happened, explaining, “He offered a presidential hat to a man who was wearing a Trump cap…And in return, the man said that, in the same spirit, the president should put on his Trump cap. And so, the president did very briefly.”

Though it may have seemed insignificant, the media’s interpretation of this moment only added fuel to the speculation.

A more pressing example occurred last week when Harris publicly criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for refusing to take her calls, calling the governor “selfish.” Yet, when President Biden was asked whether DeSantis should have accepted Harris’ call, his response raised eyebrows. “All I can tell you is I’ve talked to Governor DeSantis,” Biden said. “He’s been very gracious. He thanked me for all we’ve done. He knows what we’re doing, and I think that’s important.”

It didn’t end there. Despite Harris’ strong words about DeSantis, Biden doubled down on his praise for the Republican governor. “The governor of Florida has been cooperative,” Biden remarked. “He said he’s gotten all that he needs…you’re doing a great job, it’s all being done well and we thank you for it.” This public support of DeSantis left many questioning Biden’s loyalty to his vice president.

These instances have led several pundits to suggest that Biden may be intentionally sabotaging Harris. Republican strategist and Trump campaign adviser Jason Meister told The New York Post, “Biden is intentionally enacting revenge on Kamala for knifing him in the back…He never liked her. The happiest he’s looked in four years was when he put a red [Trump 2024] hat on…He should just come out and endorse Trump.”

Democratic insiders have also weighed in on the controversy. Hank Sheinkopf, a longtime Democratic strategist, noted the strangeness of Biden’s absence from key battleground states where Harris could use his support. “It would be absolutely ridiculous to assume that he has no resentment over how he was treated or how, frankly, he was forced out in what some would describe as a coup,” Sheinkopf explained.

Adding to the speculation, former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy offered his take during a campaign rally in Scranton, Pennsylvania. “Somewhere deep down inside, in a place that he doesn’t want to admit, I think maybe Joe Biden is actually rooting for [Trump],” Ramaswamy stated.

However, the White House has staunchly denied any notion of sabotage. White House spokesman Andrew Bates told The New York Post that the allegations are baseless, insisting that Biden has been Harris’ biggest supporter since the beginning. Bates said, “He believes fiercely in an agenda that will move us into the future, away from unhinged divisiveness and extreme policies the country can’t afford to go back to, like MAGAnomics and a national abortion ban.”

While the White House attempts to quell these rumors, the president’s actions and statements continue to draw scrutiny, leaving many wondering if there is a deeper strategy at play behind the scenes. As the 2024 election looms closer, these speculations are sure to fuel further political debate on the relationship between Biden and Harris, and the Democratic Party’s future.
