Over the weekend, President Joe Biden was seen navigating the sandy shores of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, looking unsteady on his feet as he made his way across the beach. The President and First Lady Jill Biden had just returned from church when the public witnessed the Commander-in-Chief seemingly struggling to maintain his balance.
While leaving the Sunday service, President Biden was asked a pointed question about whether he still believed President-elect Donald Trump was a “threat to democracy.” Biden’s brief response was: “I’ll see him on Wednesday,” before quickly entering an awaiting vehicle to avoid further engagement.

Once on the beach, Biden’s movements seemed more awkward than usual. His legs appeared to buckle under him several times, and he seemed on the verge of losing his balance. Onlookers were quick to note that while Jill Biden walked with ease, her husband was clearly “battling” the sandy terrain. Members of the press corps, who had followed the Bidens to the beach, could be heard gasping, with one saying, “oh no” as the President struggled to keep steady on his feet.
