Investigators have identified a Ukrainian state actor who is thought to be a Russian counterintelligence asset and who is accused of paying a bribe to President Joe Biden. U.S. security authorities are paying attention to this worrying discovery.
RedState was recently informed by unknown intelligence authorities that Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma Holdings and the employer of Hunter Biden, may really be collaborating with the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR). The officials had a “high degree of confidence” in their judgment.

According to information provided to the FBI by a whistleblower, Zlochevsky allegedly paid President Biden $5 million in exchange for his assistance in removing Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin when he served as vice president. A foreign citizen claims to have paid the bribe and has three audio recordings of the conversation as a backup, according to recent information from Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
According to the American counterintelligence expert who discussed Zlochevsky’s ties to Russia,
“The US intelligence community has a high degree of confidence in their assessment of Zlochevsky as SVR. This is not a new assessment; the intelligence community under Obama knew this, and Obama was briefed on it. Joe Biden and Victoria Nuland were briefed as well.”

Before founding Burisma, Zlochevsky held a number of important government roles in Ukraine. In April 2014, he added Hunter Biden to the board of the business. Soon later, the Serious Fraud Office confiscated Zlochevsky’s UK assets as part of an inquiry into corruption under former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich. Devon Archer, another member of the Burisma board and Hunter Biden’s business partner at the time, was also served with a subpoena by Rep. James Comer.
After threatening to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress, members of the House Oversight Committee, notably Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene, Anna Paulina Luna, and Nancy Mace, were able to view the FD-1023 form. The document purportedly details a bribe that Zlochevsky offered to Biden.

The admissions made on the FBI form present a problem for President Biden’s reelection effort. In addition to the president’s prior denial of involvement in a bribery scheme, Hunter Biden’s detractors have been criticized by the president’s campaign and advisors, who have labeled their remarks “Russian disinformation.” Hunter and other Biden family members are being looked at by Rep. James Comer (R-KY) for making money by lobbying for foreign companies looking to gain influence in the United States. Given their continuing criminal investigation into President Trump’s handling of secret material, Republicans see the Justice Department’s handling of the claims against Biden as disingenuous.
