Craig Callaway was recently charged in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with “procuring, casting, and tabulating fraudulent ballots,” as The Gateway Pundit revealed last week. The former president of the Atlantic City council was observed reportedly giving New Jersey individuals between $30 and $50 to “act as authorized messengers and request mail-in ballots for voters whom they’d never met.”
Callaway purportedly earned $65,500 for “strategic consulting” from Rep. Jeff Van Drew’s (R-02) campaign during the 2022 midterm elections. This is on top of the $110,000 that Callaway’s company was already paid by Van Drew’s campaign for services during the 2020 election.
If found guilty, Callaway may get a sentence of up to five years in jail and a fine of $250,000. His run-in with the police would not be the first; in 2006, he acknowledged taking $36,000 in bribes from a contractor in order to get contracts with the city. Furthermore, according to the New York Times, he entered a guilty plea in 2008 to a blackmail conspiracy involving an Atlantic City councilman.

Jesse Watters reported on Callaway’s operations last week. View a preview of the episode here.
But on February 12th, Watters dispatched a reporter to Atlantic City to speak with locals about Callaway and the mood of the town. When questioned, “What do you think of [Craig]?” A citizen in Atlantic City responded, “My honest opinion? Piece of s***.” The reporter followed up with, “He was caught rigging elections!” to which the woman responded, “Again…or is this the same?”
One of the men the Watters team spoke with stated, “This is pretty much norm in our elections. I mean, someone is always going to try to skirt something around.” He was then asked, “Are Atlantic City elections corrupt?”
“Always have been,” he responded.
