A raging wildfire in Los Angeles County, known as the Palisades Fire, has engulfed over 22,000 acres, leaving a devastating trail of destruction in its path. The fire, which began Tuesday, has now reached the affluent Brentwood neighborhood, home to Vice President Kamala Harris. This inferno, which has consumed vast portions of Pacific Palisades and Malibu, is being described as the largest and most catastrophic wildfire in Los Angeles history.
Scope of the Damage
Reports indicate that the fires have collectively destroyed over 37,000 acres and more than 12,000 structures. Tragically, at least 11 lives have been lost, and officials fear the actual death toll may be higher. Adding to the grim situation, at least 13 individuals remain unaccounted for, according to Fox 11.

Local residents have shared harrowing accounts of the fire’s rapid spread. One Brentwood local, Ari, expressed grave concern about the fire crossing the 405 freeway corridor. “I expect the fire to rip through Bel Air if it makes it over the 405,” Ari told The Gateway Pundit. The blaze has already moved eastward from the Mandeville Canyon area and toward Kamala Harris’s Brentwood home, heightening the urgency of evacuation efforts.
