Antifa’s Brutal Attack on Pardoned J6 Patriot Sparks Outrage!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

In an exclusive interview with The Gateway Pundit, Mellis described the unprovoked attack with calm determination — the kind of composure that only comes from surviving both prison and political persecution.

“I was assaulted many times by many different people. It was pretty crazy, because as I had my camera on, looking at my face like taking a selfie video, I decided to not engage with the protesters, and to just continue talking to my audience, because I’ve been making content to post on social media.

“So, I just talked to the camera and kept a positive demeanor. And that’s all I did, and it didn’t stop them from repeatedly insulting me and screaming crazy things at me.”

All it took was a MAGA hat and a Proud Boys logo to ignite the mob’s fury.

“Just for walking, just for standing near them — they became enraged like a pack of hyenas and started assaulting me. Walking down public sidewalk with some Maga hat on triggered them,” he said. “They ripped the Maga hat off, burned it. They assaulted me, shoved me, grabbed my shirt, ripped me around, ripped my shirt completely off. Pretty crazy, man. Cops came—a lot of cops showed up.”

By the time police arrived, the damage was already done. Once again, Antifa-style thugs operated with impunity while law enforcement played catch-up. The same double standard that defined the Biden years remains firmly in place: lawless radicals get a pass, while patriots get punished.

Mellis knows that double standard better than anyone. Dragged from his home by FBI agents and sentenced to 51 months in prison, he spent two years in solitary confinement — all because he tried to stop officers from beating Rosanne Boyland, a woman who tragically died on January 6.

President Trump’s January 20, 2025 pardon finally freed Mellis, but the persecution hasn’t stopped. He’s still branded as a “domestic terrorist” by media outlets and blacklisted by potential employers.

“I was working full time, and … ever since CPAC, I’ve been traveling nationwide, speaking to conservative groups all over the country,” he said.

Now living in West Hollywood, Mellis says he’s met countless quiet conservatives — from Hollywood writers and musicians to models and producers — who secretly support the MAGA movement.

“Writers, producers, directors, musicians, models, playmates, everything you can think of is out here, and they’re all Maga, black, white, gay—they’re all Maga, and they are itching for the bubble to pop.”

Still, he hasn’t forgotten his brothers in arms. Fourteen Proud Boys and Oath Keepers were granted commutations but not full pardons — meaning they still carry felony records that strip away their rights and veteran benefits.

“They got let out of prison, which is amazing, and God bless Donald Trump for doing that. But they need full pardons,” Mellis said. “Several of those guys are veterans who fought for this country and were injured, even an injured Purple Heart recipient. Without the pardon, they still have the felony on their records so they don’t receive their veteran benefits. That is a travesty of justice on its own.”

Despite the hardship, Mellis remains unbroken. He picks up construction jobs when he can while building his platform @PatriotWildMan, a social media brand that mixes humor, raw honesty, and behind-the-scenes truth from a man who’s lived through the system’s worst abuses.

“I do pick up odd jobs, construction, blue collar stuff when I can. It’s hard to find that kind of work in Hollywood, as you know, as a J sixer.

“But I’ve also, with my activism, sort of just embraced it … they’re gonna label me something and not let me escape it. I’m gonna spread the word of what happened to us and the dangers of communism, because that’s what it really is, authoritarianism. They locked me up and they put me on solitary confinement, denied me visitation for years, treating me like a terrorist.”

Even while struggling financially and helping his mother through medical treatments, Mellis refuses to stop fighting. His supporters can help him continue his mission through givesendgo.com/jonmellis, a campaign to fund his travels, activism, and reporting.

“It is hard to find work. I do what I can. I’m struggling to make ends meet, but when you donate to me, you’re giving me the ability to travel and speak to groups of people, whether it’s GOP committees, clubs, different events,” he said.

Mellis is living proof that no prison cell, no mob, and no smear campaign can silence the American spirit. The left may burn hats and tear shirts — but they can’t tear down truth.

Jon Mellis isn’t a victim. He’s a fighter — and his fight is far from over.
