A Pennsylvania Democrat running in one of the nation’s most closely watched congressional contests is facing accusations of hypocrisy after reportedly requiring identification to enter campaign events — even as he campaigns against Republican-backed voter identification requirements.
Bob Brooks, the Democratic nominee in Pennsylvania’s competitive 7th Congressional District, has publicly opposed the SAVE Act and other Republican election-integrity proposals.
But according to a Breitbart News report, Brooks’ own campaign has required people attending campaign events to provide identification.
