“Alligator Alcatraz” Is Real — And It’s in a Red State!

In a bold move that’s sending shockwaves through liberal sanctuary cities, the red state of Indiana is gearing up to open its own hardline migrant detention center—echoing Florida’s notorious “Alligator Alcatraz.” The new facility, unofficially dubbed the Speedway Slammer, is a major step in the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement policy.

According to Fox News, Indiana officials are working closely with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to finalize the details of the facility, which could eventually house hundreds—if not thousands—of illegal migrants awaiting deportation. The project is part of ICE’s national push to expand detention capacity by a staggering 80,000 beds within the next 12 months.

Unlike the lenient policies of Democrat-run cities where migrants are released with minimal oversight, Indiana is flipping the script. This new center, expected to provide up to 1,000 beds, will allow ICE to relocate detainees from overwhelmed blue city jurisdictions like Chicago—long plagued by surging migrant numbers under Biden’s watch.
