Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, replied to remarks made by former president Donald Trump earlier today during a news conference held there on Wednesday. James, who was clearly upset, called Trump’s comments “offensive,” “baseless,” and without any basis in reality.
She continued by claiming that Trump had “fomented violence” with his remarks and that he had engaged in “race-baiting.” She inexplicably complained that his comments get into the “bottom of our humanity” and might harm the general populace.
The current investigation of Trump, according to the attorney general, is based on claims of a “pattern and practice of fraud.”
“I will not be bullied!” stated James. James made a harsh statement directed at the former President, “Mr. Trump is no longer here. The Donald Trump show is over.” She disregarded everything, calling it just a “political stunt” planned by Trump.
The verbal conflict persists. Trump scathingly denounced the ongoing judicial processes today, calling the entire system “corrupt.”
Trump has been “stuck” in New York because of an ongoing trial, despite his impatience to be campaigning in states like Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Ohio. Trump continues to lead all GOP contenders despite this defeat, paving the way for a potential rerun of the 2020 Presidential race.
Trump criticizes the judge’s assessment of the value of his Mar-a-Lago property, countering the $18 million evaluation with a stunning $1.8 billion estimate. The decision came during a lawsuit action accusing the former president of misrepresenting his net wealth in order to defraud financial institutions, striking the possible 2024 contender hard.
Trump brazenly said that political objectives were behind his legal issues. He vehemently maintained that Washington, D.C.’s Department of Justice and AG James are working against him to keep him preoccupied.

“But I’m stuck here because I have a corrupt attorney general that communicates with the DOJ in Washington to keep me nice and busy, because I’m leading Biden in the polls by a lot,” Trump explained. “That’s all it is, this is election interference. They made up a fake case, they’re fraudulent people. And the judge already knows what he’s gonna do.”

Judge Engoron was further blasted by Trump, who stated, “He’s a Democrat judge out of the clubhouses.”
“He’s controlled, and it’s a shame,” Trump said, highlighting his comprehensive understanding of New York City’s inner workings.
“I know this city better than anybody knows this city,” Trump remarked. “There’s nobody who knows it like I do… What’s going on here is a shame. Our whole system is corrupt. This is corrupt!”
Trump went to the trial to draw attention to corruption because he thought the media wasn’t doing enough to highlight it. He expressed appreciation to the media at the end of the spontaneous news conference.
