A congressional investigation into ActBlue is intensifying after Republican lawmakers released internal records they say raise serious questions about how the Democratic fundraising powerhouse handled donations carrying foreign warning signs.
Among the examples highlighted by investigators is an ActBlue review involving a donor whose internet activity sometimes traced back to Hong Kong.
Instead of automatically rejecting the contribution, an internal note described the transaction as a “great accept.”
