Uygur, founder of The Young Turks, appeared Thursday on Piers Morgan Uncensored for a heated discussion surrounding Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, progressive streamer Hasan Piker and the increasingly contentious race for Michigan’s open Senate seat.
The conversation quickly became confrontational after host Piers Morgan brought up a CBS News report concerning old social media posts associated with El-Sayed. Among the material discussed were comments in which the Democratic candidate compared COVID-19 deaths with the nearly 3,000 Americans killed during the September 11 terrorist attacks.
