Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is once again making waves after taking a swipe at the intelligence of the American people, suggesting that President Donald Trump’s re-election was a result of growing “stupidity” across the country and even within Congress.
During a recent interview with disgraced former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, Omar didn’t hold back her disdain, blaming what she sees as a lack of intellect for the Republican leader’s second victory in November.

“These people are just idiots,” Omar said, shaking her head while speaking with host Ari Melber. “I’m at the point where it’s become hard to have an intellectual debate with any of these people because the level of stupidity they are displaying every single day is frankly embarrassing, not just in Congress but as Americans.”
