Obama Judge Shields Biden’s Man—AGAIN!

“On behalf of President Donald J. Trump, I am writing to inform you that your position as Special Counsel of the US Office of Special Counsel is terminated, effective immediately. Thank you for your service,” Sergio Gor, Director of the White House Presidential Office, wrote in an official letter to Dellinger, as reported by Politico.

Unwilling to accept his dismissal, Dellinger swiftly filed a lawsuit and requested a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) to block Trump’s decision. Conveniently, the case landed in the courtroom of Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee with a history of siding against Trump and his allies.

By late Monday evening, Judge Jackson issued an administrative stay, effectively allowing Dellinger to keep his job for now.

“Trump must allow Dellinger to continue to have ‘access’ to the agency’s resources and cannot ‘recognize the authority of any other person as Special Counsel’ while the order remains in effect,” Jackson wrote, according to Politico.

Dellinger wasted no time celebrating the ruling.

“I am grateful to have the opportunity to continue leading the Office of Special Counsel and I am resuming my work tonight,” he said in a statement reported by Politico.

However, Trump’s legal team immediately pushed back, filing an appeal against Judge Jackson’s ruling to reinstate Dellinger.

This is just the latest example of activist Obama-appointed judges working against Trump as he moves to restore control over the executive branch.

Over the weekend, another Obama judge, Paul Engelmayer, issued an ex parte TRO barring all Trump appointees, including newly appointed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, from accessing critical Department of Treasury data.

The resistance from entrenched bureaucrats and left-wing judges signals a larger battle over Trump’s authority to enact his policies and choose his own administration. With legal battles ramping up, Trump’s efforts to take control of Washington face relentless opposition from the very establishment he was elected to dismantle.
