Trump’s Response: A Masterclass in Calling Out the Left
President Trump, never one to hold back, responded with a fiery and pointed takedown of Waters and her fellow Democrats. When asked about the attempted ambush by Fox News’ Peter Doocy, Trump did not disappoint.
“I see Maxine Waters, a low-life, I see all these people, they don’t love our Country,” Trump remarked, delivering yet another iconic roast of the radical left.

Trump then shifted focus to the real issue at hand: America’s failing education system. He pointed out the stark reality that despite astronomical spending, U.S. students rank dead last among 40 developed nations.
“So they rank 40 countries in education,” he noted. “We’re ranked DEAD LAST.”
This abysmal ranking comes despite the fact that America spends more per student than any other nation in the world—a glaring example of big government waste.
“The ‘good news’ is we’re number one in one category: cost per pupil. We spend more per pupil than any other country in the world,” Trump explained. “You look at Norway, Denmark…Various countries up and down…and then you look at us. We spend much more money than they do.”
A Call for Common-Sense Education Reform
Trump, who has long championed school choice and the decentralization of education, reiterated his commitment to returning control to the states. He emphasized that allowing states to take charge of their own education policies would yield dramatically better results.
“In Biden’s last year, we’re ranked dead last. So what I would like to see is (school) choice, but beyond choice, I want to see it go back to the States,” he stated. “(There are) great states that have no debt…They will be as good as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and any of the other highly ranked countries.”
Trump predicted that under state-led education reforms, America would see as many as 35 to 38 states achieving top-tier rankings, rivaling the best educational systems in the world.

His remarks serve as a stark contrast to the left’s hysteria. While Democrats engage in publicity stunts, Trump remains laser-focused on fixing America’s broken institutions. The radical left may cry foul, but their failed policies and reckless spending continue to expose their incompetence.
As Trump takes decisive action to eliminate waste and return power to the people, the American education system could finally see the transformation it desperately needs. Meanwhile, Democrats like Waters resort to performative outrage—proving once again that their only real goal is maintaining control, not actually improving the lives of students and families across the nation.
