As Donald Trump embarks on his second term, Melania Trump has once again shown the world what dignity and poise look like. In a recent interview with Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt, the former first lady reflected on the challenges she faced during the initial transition of power in 2017, shedding light on the less-than-gracious behavior of the outgoing Obama administration.
When asked about the difference between her first move to the White House and the current one, Melania didn’t hold back. She explained that the first transition was riddled with obstacles, as crucial information was withheld from the incoming Trump team. “The first time was challenging, we didn’t have much of the information,” Melania told Earhardt in the interview aired on January 13. “The information was [withheld] for us from [the] previous administration.”

Fast forward to today, and Melania is far more prepared. “The difference is I know where I will be going, I know the rooms where we will be living. I know the process,” she said, adding, “It’s [a] very different transition second time around.” This time, she’s packed and ready to hit the ground running.
