Charles Smith, 27, faces multiple charges after allegedly spraying poison on food items in the store—an act that he inexplicably recorded and uploaded to social media.
Reckless Act Caught on Camera
Smith’s actions were brazen and ill-conceived. According to police reports, the suspect filmed himself spraying bug killer over fruits, vegetables, and even prepared foods like rotisserie chickens. The video, which showed his face clearly, left little doubt about his involvement in the incident.

Adding to the absurdity, Smith reportedly returned to the same Walmart just ten minutes after committing the act. According to court documents, he attempted to retrieve the contaminated items, wheeling some of them to the back of the store.
