A baffling mystery has enveloped Ocean County, New Jersey, as residents and officials report an alarming rise in drone activity over the past several weeks. These aren’t your average drones—they’re described as fixed-wing aircraft with wingspans of 8-10 feet, equipped with blinking lights. Even more unsettling, these unidentified flying objects have demonstrated capabilities far beyond conventional drones, leaving law enforcement and the Coast Guard perplexed.

Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy has been leading efforts to investigate the phenomenon. According to the sheriff, the drones have repeatedly outmaneuvered industrial-grade drones deployed by law enforcement. “They don’t give off heat like regular drones,” Sheriff Mastronardy explained, making them nearly impossible to track.

In one particularly unsettling encounter, the Coast Guard reported being shadowed by 12-30 drones while navigating the waters near the Jersey Shore. Despite deploying advanced tracking technology, the mysterious aircraft eluded capture, disappearing into the night sky.
