Pete Hegseth’s Shocking Response to Assault Allegations!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The allegations against Hegseth first came to light in 2017 when a married woman, referred to as Jane Doe, claimed Hegseth had sexually assaulted her during a Republican women’s conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Monterey. Doe alleged that she was drinking after the event and later found herself in a hotel room with Hegseth. According to her claims, she could recall Hegseth wearing a dog tag necklace and a subsequent sexual encounter, which she alleged was non-consensual.

However, Hegseth has consistently maintained that the encounter was consensual. Surveillance footage obtained during the investigation appears to support his account, showing Jane Doe smiling and walking arm-in-arm with Hegseth toward the hotel pool at 1:15 a.m. Witnesses, including Jane Doe’s husband, reportedly stated that she was not intoxicated that evening.

The Monterey police department conducted a thorough investigation into the allegations and found no evidence to substantiate Jane Doe’s claims. Hegseth’s attorney, Tim Parlatore, told Vanity Fair last week, “This allegation was already investigated by the Monterey police department, and they found no evidence for it.”

The police report, obtained by Mediaite, further detailed the incident. According to the report, Jane Doe approached Hegseth after the conference, criticizing how he treated women. She later accompanied him to his hotel room, where the alleged encounter occurred. Notably, Jane Doe waited four days before seeking a medical exam and reportedly only recalled the incident when she returned home the following Monday.

Hegseth, in his statement to law enforcement, described the encounter as consensual and claimed that Jane Doe willingly led him to his hotel room. He also noted that she refused to leave afterward, allegedly telling him she would explain her absence to her husband by claiming she passed out on a couch.

Adding to the complexity of the case, Jane Doe’s husband, who was staying at the hotel with their children, repeatedly called and texted her throughout the night. This, coupled with witness accounts of Jane Doe’s behavior, has raised further questions about her credibility.

While left-leaning outlets like Mediaite have seized on the allegations to discredit Hegseth, conservative commentators have defended him. Megyn Kelly recently dismantled Jane Doe’s account in a scathing analysis, highlighting inconsistencies in her claims and the lack of evidence to support her story.

This is a must watch:

As the confirmation process looms, Hegseth’s legal team is not backing down. Parlatore’s threat of a lawsuit underscores the high stakes involved, both for Hegseth’s career and for the broader implications of public accusations in political contexts.

For now, all eyes remain on the Senate and its decision, which could determine not only Hegseth’s future but also the trajectory of the legal battle brewing in the background.
